" A sad accident occurred on Tuesday of last week, costing the life of William Waimer. Mr. Waimer was walling the well at the creamery when the team became frightened at the afternoon train and ran away causing the bucket with which the rock was being lowered into the well to fall back, striking Mr. Waimer on the head and crushing the skull. He never regained consciousness and lived but a short time. He leaves a wife, three children and several grand children to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at 12 o'clock Thursday conducted by Mrs.Wilcox. Burial in McLouth cemetery."
